It is a tragic story that is brought to life through the eloquent writing of Krakauer. The autor tells the story beautifuly and objectively, allow the reader to draw their own conclusions. The story comes alive on the page. I would recommend this book, as well as any other of Jon Krakauer's. It is a glimps into the heart and soul of a young idealistic man.
